Currently i am doing my final year (5th Year) of a Bachelor of Engineering
(Honours) in Integrated Circuit Engineering in IT Carlow. (Level 8)

IT Carlow's prospectus describes the course as follows:

"Integrated Circuit (IC) Engineering is concerned with the  creation of microchips, and forms the core of the microelectronics industry. Devices controlled by microchips are everywhere in today's world, as the IC provides the intelligence in all modern equipment, from mobile phones to DVD players."
